Ultrasound

We have the newest in available technology for ultrasound providing 3-D sono for every patient.

Medically speaking, we have had limited improvement in diagnostic capability by adding 3-D. However, it is sure great fun to see these 3-D images. Most insurance pays for 1-2 "routine" ultrasounds for a routine pregnancy which gives us 99% of the information we need. The rest is just for your enjoyment. Ultrasound is also the best diagnostic method for visualization of the pelvic structures. We recommend that people with pelvic symptoms receive ultrasound rather than CT scans for initial evaluation.
